Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a detail-oriented Client Accounting Bookkeeper for a 100% remote role supporting a portfolio of small to mid-sized business clients. You will perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including reconciliations, journal entries, monthly financial statements, and general ledger maintenance.

Requirements: 3+ years of bookkeeping, experience with QuickBooks or similar, GAAP knowledge, and strong remote communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with small to mid-sized businesses.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Solid understanding of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Generate monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
• Communicate with clients to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure adherence to accounting best practices and internal processes
