Job summary

Cognizant seeks a Frontier Engineer to pilot a cloud-native payment hub migration from Azure to AWS and GCP. You will use GenAI tools to accelerate delivery, develop API/UI with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, and build CI/CD pipelines across cloud environments.

The role emphasizes collaboration across development, QA, cloud, and DB teams to deliver a successful pilot with potential in-person interviews as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Frontier Engineer with GenAI tooling (Devin, Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot).
• Polyglot development in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong API development experience.
• Hands-on UI development with Angular.
• Cloud development on AWS and/or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Utilize GenAI tools to migrate API/UI code from Azure to AWS/GCP.
• Develop API and UI components using Java, Spring Boot, Angular.
• Design and build cloud-native solutions on AWS and GCP, incl. CI/CD pipelines and DB engineering.
• Apply GenAI to accelerate testing and QA during migration.
• Collaborate across development, QA, cloud, and DB teams to deliver the pilot.
