Job summary
Cognizant is seeking a Frontier Engineer to pilot and migrate a cloud-native payment hub from Azure to AWS and GCP, leveraging GenAI tools to accelerate delivery.
You will design and implement API and UI components using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, build CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with developers, QA, cloud and DB engineers, and clients.

Qualifications
- Experience as a Frontier Engineer with GenAI tools such as Devin, Claude, Codex, and GitHub Copilot.
- Polyglot development expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong API development experience.
- Hands-on experience building user interfaces with Angular.
- Cloud development experience on AWS and/or GCP.
Responsibilities
- Utilize GenAI tools to migrate API and UI code from Azure to AWS/GCP.
- Develop and enhance API and UI components using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Design and build cloud-native solutions on AWS and GCP, including CI/CD pipelines and database engineering.
- Apply GenAI tools to accelerate testing and QA activities.
- Collaborate across development, QA, cloud engineering, and DB teams to deliver the pilot.
