Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Frontier Engineer to pilot and migrate a cloud-native payment hub from Azure to AWS and GCP, leveraging GenAI tools to accelerate delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote US-based role and contribute to API/UI migration and modern cloud-native development.

Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and a strong focus on API development are essential, with cloud experience across AWS/GCP and GenAI-enabled QA.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Frontier Engineer with GenAI tools such as Devin, Claude, Codex, and GitHub Copilot.
• Polyglot development expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong API development experience.
• Hands-on experience building user interfaces with Angular.
• Cloud development experience on AWS and/or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Migrate API and UI code from Azure to AWS and GCP.
• Develop API and UI components using Java, Spring Boot, Angular.
• Build cloud-native solutions including CI/CD pipelines and DB engineering.
• Apply GenAI tools to accelerate testing and QA.
• Collaborate across development, QA, cloud, and DB teams to deliver the pilot.
