Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Frontier Engineer to pilot and migrate a cloud-native payments hub from Azure to AWS and GCP, using GenAI tools to speed delivery. You will collaborate with developers, QA, cloud and DevOps teams, and clients across a remote US-based role.

Flexibility is offered with a remote-first model; some in-person interviews may be required based on project needs, and a discretionary annual incentive program is available based on performance.

Qualifications

Experience as a Frontier Engineer with GenAI tools such as Devin, Claude, Codex, and GitHub Copilot.
Polyglot development expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
Strong API development experience.
Hands-on experience building user interfaces with Angular.
Cloud development experience on AWS and/or GCP.

Responsibilities

Utilize GenAI tools to migrate API and UI code from Azure to AWS and GCP.
Develop and enhance API and UI components using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
Design and build cloud-native solutions on AWS and GCP, including CI/CD pipelines.
Apply GenAI tools to accelerate testing and QA activities.
Collaborate across development, QA, cloud, and DB workstreams to deliver the pilot.
