Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Software Developer (Frontend) to deliver front-end design and development for USAF mission support. The role involves creating wireframes, mockups, and technical designs, implementing GUI improvements, and optimizing user navigation for key features. Strong agile, UI/UX focus and DevSecOps practices are essential.

The position is remote and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly. Travel up to 10–20% may be required.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required.
7 years of overall experience in the functional area.
7 years of software development experience in OO languages with DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
Experience preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests.
3 years of experience with Jira and testing web-based applications.
3 years of experience participating in software development programs or projects.
Practical cloud environment development experience.
5 years with Jenkins and GitLab.
5 years with at least five of: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.
3 years of recent frontend web design and development experience.
Experience with agile, user-centric UI/UX design.

Responsibilities

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly is required.
Plan and perform front-end design and development tasks including mockups, wireframes, and technical designs.
Develop and modify GUIs and optimize UI elements for better usability.
Enhance system navigation and user experience for key features.
Collaborate with PMO and stakeholders to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
Contribute to DevSecOps practices and cloud deployment activities.
Travel up to 10–20% as needed.
