Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Software Developer (Frontend) to provide subject matter expertise for USAF missions. The role involves front-end design, development, mockups, wireframes, and UI/UX optimization, with emphasis on user-centric, actionable interfaces.

The position requires active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly, 7+ years in software development, and experience with cloud deployments. Occasional travel 10–20% may be required.

Qualifications

> Active TS/SCI with CI Poly eligibility.
> 7 years of software development in OO and scripting languages with DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
> 3 years of experience with Jira and testing web-based applications.
> 3 years of experience in front-end web design and development.
> Experience developing in a cloud environment and integrating data from unclassified to classified deployments.
> Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitLab; familiarity with NPM, Cypress, esbuild, Bun, Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.
> Bachelor’s degree; Master’s may substitute for 2 years.
> Willingness to travel 10–20%.

Responsibilities

> Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
> Perform front-end design and development tasks including technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and documentation for PMO review.
> Plan and implement modifications to GUIs and optimize UI elements and navigation.
> Ensure user-centric UI/UX practices and agile collaboration with stakeholders.
> Develop in cloud environments and integrate data across deployment tiers.
> Maintain and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
