Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to support front-end design, development and UX improvements. The role emphasizes building UI components, implementing modifications, and partnering with PMO and stakeholders. A Secret clearance is required, along with extensive DevSecOps and cloud/container experience.

The candidate should have strong TypeScript, Angular/React experience, and a proven record in agile environments, while ensuring accessibility and usability across user personas.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance or higher required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field; master’s may substitute for 2 years.
• 7 years of software development experience in OO and scripting languages.
• Experience with DevSecOps toolchains, microservices and containers.
• 3 years with Jira for bug tracking and test activities.
• 3 years testing web-based applications.
• 3 years in software development programs or projects.
• 3 years TypeScript usage in Angular or React.
• Cloud experience and containerized environments (Kubernetes/Docker).
• 5 years with Jenkins and GitLab.
• Experience with at least five of: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.

Responsibilities

• Front-end design and development tasks including design drawings, mockups and wireframes.
• Plan and implement GUI modifications, optimize UI elements and navigation.
• Develop functional architectures and support PMO reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure UI/UX quality.
• Engage in agile, user-centric application design and testing.
