Job summary

SMX is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Web Applications to design, build, support, and implement the BAS web app. This remote role supports a Washington, DC based customer and requires U.S.

citizenship and Public Trust clearance. You will work with the SAC Analytics Designer platform to develop interactive UI components, review requirements, and optimize performance for enterprise planning and reporting applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of frontend web development experience using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Experience with REST APIs and data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Strong OO programming, web development and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Public Trust clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise front-end applications using SAP Analytics Cloud or other web technologies.
• Review application requirements and interface designs.
• Develop and implement interactive UI/UX components.
• Monitor and improve front-end performance.
• Document application changes and updates.
• Provide feedback on UI/UX feasibility and design constraints.
• Optimize web applications for scalability and speed.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members.
