Job summary

SMX is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Web Application to design, build, and support the BAS solution. Work remotely for a Washington, DC client and pursue Public Trust clearance. You will develop interactive UI components using SAC Analytics Designer and SAP Analytics Cloud, review designs, and optimize front-end performance.

The role requires a BS in CS or related field and 2 years in frontend development with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS, plus REST API experience. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
2 years of software engineering experience in front-end web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
Understanding of JavaScript and its intricacies.
Experience with REST APIs and data formats like XML and JSON.
Proven ability to work independently and in a team.
Public Trust clearance is required; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Build enterprise web applications using SAP Analytics Cloud or web technologies.
Review requirements and interface designs.
Develop interactive UI/UX components.
Monitor and improve front-end performance.
Document changes and updates; participate in code reviews.
