Job summary

SMX is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Web Application to design, build and enhance the BAS web app using SAC Analytics Designer and standard web technologies. You will develop interactive UI components, review designs, and optimize performance for a SaaS BI platform.

This role is remote, supporting a Washington, DC based customer, and requires US citizenship and Public Trust clearance. Join a fast-moving team delivering enterprise planning and analytics solutions with SAP Analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of front-end web development experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and its quirks.
• Experience creating/consuming REST APIs and data formats XML/JSON.
• OO design, Web development and debugging.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• U.S. citizenship or Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise planning and reporting apps using SAC or other web technologies such as JavaScript.
• Review requirements and interface designs.
• Develop and implement highly interactive UI/UX components.
• Monitor and improve front-end performance.
• Document application changes and developing updates.
• Provide feedback on the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize web applications for scalability and speed.
• Participate in code reviews and communicate effectively with team members.
