Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an accomplished frontend engineering leader to own the architectural evolution of our core Search features, built on React, TypeScript, and Node. You will drive performance, map-based visualizations, and close collaboration with product and backend teams.

You’ll mentor peers, enforce coding standards, and optimize data-heavy interfaces for high-traffic use cases across remote-friendly teams. Relevant experience and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong React and TypeScript frontend skills with modern web patterns.
• Experience building map-based visualizations with Mapbox or Google Maps API.
• Fullstack context with Node.js and API design (REST/GraphQL/gRPC).

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural evolution and frontend execution for core Search features.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to implement UI/UX from research.
• Build complex map-based visualizations and geospatial interfaces.
• Uphold frontend standards, review code, and raise technical execution.
• Optimize client-side performance and data retrieval for high-traffic apps.
