Job summary

BLN24 is seeking a Front End Web Developer to support CFPB’s RegTech BPA program by designing and building intuitive, accessible, public-facing web applications. The role requires strong React expertise and collaboration with user research and back-end teams.

You will contribute to automated tests and CI/CD for containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes. You will work in a hybrid environment with opportunities for remote work while delivering Section 508-compliant interfaces and data

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Expertise in modern front-end techniques and frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap).
• Experience with open-source projects and public-facing solutions.
• Experience building applications using React.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain public-facing web applications using React and modern front-end techniques
• Build responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and Bootstrap, composing UIs from packages managed with npm and Yarn
• Translate organizational needs into web application solutions through custom code
• Participate in design sprints with user research teams to understand and address user needs
• Collaborate with back-end developers to design the JSON APIs consumed by the user interface
• Develop automated tests and support continuous delivery pipelines for containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Build accessible, Section 508-compliant interfaces, including data visualizations and web maps where needed
• Manage source code, reviews, and releases in GitHub as part of an Agile, open-source delivery team
