Job summary

BLN24 is seeking a Front End Web Developer to support CFPB's RegTech BPA program in McLean, VA. You will design and build public-facing web apps using React, ensure accessibility, and collaborate with UX research and back-end teams.

You will contribute to automated testing and containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes, while delivering in an Agile, open-source environment. Remote work opportunities may exist depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Expertise with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap, and responsive design.
• Experience building public-facing solutions and open-source projects.
• Experience with React library and translating needs into code.
• Experience collaborating with UX research and back-end teams.
• Experience with automated tests and CI/CD pipelines; GitHub for source control.
• Experience containerizing apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain public-facing web apps using React and modern front-end techniques.
• Build responsive UIs with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap; manage packages with npm/Yarn.
• Collaborate with user research and back-end teams to implement JSON APIs.
• Develop automated tests; support continuous delivery pipelines for containerized apps.
• Create accessible, Section 508-compliant interfaces and visualizations.
• Manage source code, reviews, and releases in GitHub within an Agile team.
