Job summary

SMX seeks a Software Engineer - Front End Web Applications to design, build, and support the BAS solution for a Washington, DC based customer. This remote role requires a Public Trust clearance and U.S. citizenship to maintain federal clearance.

You will develop interactive UI/UX components, work with SAP Analytics Cloud and JavaScript-based tech, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable web applications and dashboards for complex budgeting and spend analyses.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software engineering across front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
Experience with REST APIs and data formats like XML and JSON.
Experience in OO programming/design, Web development and debugging.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Strong programming and communication skills.
Must hold Public Trust clearance.
U.S. citizenship required to maintain federal clearance.

Responsibilities

Review requirements and interface designs.
