Job summary

SMX is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Web Application to design, build, and support the BAS web application using SAP Analytics Cloud and standard web technologies. This remote role supports a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance.

You'll develop interactive UI components, review requirements, and optimize front-end performance while collaborating with a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in software engineering.
• 2 years of front-end software engineering using JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience with REST APIs and data formats like XML/JSON.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• U.S. citizenship and Public Trust clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise planning and reporting applications using SAC Analytics Designer or other web technologies.
• Develop and implement highly interactive UI/UX components.
• Review requirements and interface designs.
• Monitor and improve front-end performance.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team.
