Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team and provide subject matter proficiency for process improvement and requirements definition. The role involves front-end design, mockups, wireframes, and UI optimization for user-facing features, within a secure, remote environment.

The position requires a Secret clearance, a related bachelor’s degree (master may substitute for 2 years), and 7 years of software development with DevSecOps tools, plus cloud and container experience

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field; a master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with DevSecOps tools.
Experience preparing, conducting, and documenting system tests to verify operability.
3 years of experience with Jira and testing web-based applications.
3 years of experience in software development programs or projects.
3 years’ experience with TypeScript in Angular or React.
Experience in cloud environments and containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Docker).
5 years with Jenkins and GitLab; proficiency with at least five listed tools.

Responsibilities

Create technical design drawings, mockups, and wireframes for PMO and stakeholders.
Plan and implement modifications to GUIs and optimize UI navigation.
Develop and optimize user-facing features and components.
Support DoD DevSecOps workflows in a secure, remote environment.
