Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions seeks a Mid Front-End Developer to design and implement front-end interfaces, wireframes, and UX improvements for DoD-related applications. You will build and optimize GUI components, maturing user experiences while collaborating with PMO and stakeholders.

The role requires strong React expertise, JS/OO development experience, and familiarity with DevSecOps tools. A Secret clearance is required, with Top Secret/SCI desired, and a remote-friendly setup near San Antonio.

Qualifications

• 7 years of overall experience in the functional area; degree required; Master's may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with DevSecOps, microservices and containers
• 3 years of recent and relevant experience performing front-end web design and development
• Experience preparing, conducting, and documenting system tests to verify operability and standards compliance
• Experience in agile, user-centric design and best-of-breed UI/UX standards
• Experience generating wireframes, mockups for multiple user personas
• Experience utilizing UX design tool suites (Sketch, InVision)
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining front-end apps using React
• 3 years experience with Jira
• 3 years experience testing web-based applications
• 3 years experience participating in software development programs/projects
• Experience in cloud environments
• Secret clearance required; Top Secret/SCI desired

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical skills to support process improvement and requirements.
• Develop requirements documents, models, procedures, and architectures.
• Design and develop front-end GUI elements, wireframes, and mockups for stakeholder reviews.
• Enhance UI navigation and usability for user-facing features.
• Collaborate with PMO and stakeholders to ensure compliance with project standards and requirements.
