Job summary

Sound Decisions is seeking a Software Engineer — Full-Stack (Front-End Focused) to own the front-end experience in a fast-growing, fully remote FinTech SaaS company. You’ll primarily work in the UI layer with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Vite, collaborating with a small backend-leaning team and leveraging AI coding tools for quality, while maintaining strong autonomy.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Experience with UI development in a front-end heavy role; Vite experience is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously in a small, fast-moving company.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own front-end features end to end — from UI/UX implementation through shipping — using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React (Vite as the build tool).
• Collaborate with a small backend-leaning engineering team to integrate front-end work with core product services.
• Use AI development tools as a normal part of workflow — verify and stand behind your changes.
