Job summary

SOUND DECISIONS is seeking a Software Engineer to join a small, high-trust engineering team in a 100% remote, front-end heavy full-stack role. You’ll own front-end features end-to-end using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Vite, with occasional backend exposure.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Strong autonomy and ability to ship features with minimal supervision.
• Experience with front-end tooling and UI implementation.

Responsibilities

• Own front-end features end to end - from UI/UX implementation through shipping - using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React (Vite as the build tool).
• Collaborate with a small backend-leaning engineering team to integrate front-end work with core product services.
• Use AI development tools as a normal part of your workflow and validate your outputs.
• Adapt to a small-company pace and contribute to shaping front-end practices.
