Job summary

Sound Decisions is a fast-growing, fully remote FinTech SaaS company at the intersection of payments and data intelligence. You’ll join a small, high-trust engineering team and own front-end features end to end in React/TypeScript, with occasional backend exposure.

This role is 100% remote, travel about two weeks per year for in-person gatherings. We favor candidates near Salt Lake City, UT; Philadelphia, PA; or Chicago, IL, but exceptional applicants elsewhere will be considered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong depth in JavaScript/TypeScript and React; Vite experience a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously in a small, fast-moving team and ship with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Own front-end features end to end in React/TS, from UI/UX to shipping.
• Collaborate with backend-focused peers to integrate services.
• Leverage AI coding tools while validating and understanding your output.
