Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team remotely. The role requires a Secret clearance and a strong background in front-end development, including crafting technical designs, mockups, and documentation for PMO and stakeholders.

You will plan and implement GUI modifications, build and optimize UI elements, and enhance system navigation for user-facing features. Proven experience with cloud containers and agile, user-centered design is essential.

Qualifications

Secret clearance or higher required.
Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s may substitute for 2 years of experience.
7 years of software development experience in OO and scripting with DevSecOps, microservices and containers.
3 years of experience with Jira and testing web-based apps.
3 years of experience in software development programs or projects.
5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
5 years of experience with at least five of: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.
5 years recent experience front-end design and development; agile, user-centric UI/UX; wireframes and UX tools.

Responsibilities

Create technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and related documentation for PMO and stakeholders.
Plan and implement modifications to GUIs, construct and optimize UI elements, and improve navigation.
Facilitate operator ease of use for user-facing feature development.
Develop in cloud and containerized environments (Kubernetes/Docker) and integrate data for deployments.
