Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team in a remote capacity. The role emphasizes front-end design, mockups, and UI optimization to support PMO and stakeholders.

You will craft functional models, architectures, and procedures while ensuring ease of use for user-facing features. The position requires a Secret clearance, a related bachelor’s degree (master’s may substitute for 2 years), and extensive experience with modern front-end tech, cloud and containerized

Qualifications

• Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• 7 years of software development in OO and scripting languages with DevSecOps tool experience.
• Experience planning, executing tests and documenting results to verify operability.
• 3 years using Jira for bug tracking.
• 3 years testing web applications.
• 3 years in software development programs or projects.
• 3 years using TypeScript in Angular or React.
• Hands-on experience in cloud environments and containerized tech like Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience integrating data from unclassified to classified deployments.
• 5 years with Jenkins and GitLab and exposure to multiple tools such as NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.
• 3 years front-end web design and development.
• Experience with agile, user-centric UI/UX and creating wireframes/mockups for multiple personas.

Responsibilities

• Front-end design and development including design drawings, mockups, and wireframes for review.
• Plan and implement modifications to GUIs, build UI elements, and improve navigation.
• Collaborate with PMO and stakeholders to deliver user-facing features and UX standards.
