Vannevar seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Security Platform team and shape authentication, authorization, and access management across products. You will own identity infrastructure, IdP integrations, policy frameworks, and SSO capabilities, partnering with engineering, mission, and product teams to deliver secure-by-default platforms.

• 3+ years leading and growing software engineering teams.
• Strong authentication, authorization, access control design.
• 8+ years building scalable distributed systems.
• Ability to align product needs with technical delivery.
• Decision-making amid ambiguity balancing security and velocity.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing security platform team.
• Define roadmap for identity, access management, and SSO.
