The role requires market knowledge, strong negotiation, and cross‑functional collaboration with sales, operations, and logistics to improve margins and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of pork, meat, protein, food sales, or business development experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Solid understanding of commodity meat markets and pricing dynamics.
• Growth-oriented mindset with strong margin-management instincts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow fresh domestic pork sales.
• Prospect and secure new customer opportunities across retail, food service, wholesale, and distribution.
• Expand existing relationships with additional products, programs, and volume.
• Lead pricing discussions, negotiate programs, and meet volume, revenue, and margin targets.
• Collaborate with operations, production planning, and logistics to align demand with capabilities.
