Job summary

Redwood Farms Meat Processors seeks a results-driven Business Development Manager to grow fresh domestic pork sales. You will develop new customer relationships, expand accounts, and align demand with production capabilities through collaboration with sales, operations, and logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Animal Science, Meat Science, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years pork, meat, protein, food sales, or business development experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to build relationships and grow accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow fresh domestic pork sales.
• Identify, prospect, and secure new customer opportunities across retail, food service, wholesale, and distribution channels.
• Lead pricing, volume, and program discussions with customers and align demand with production capabilities.
• Expand existing customer relationships through additional products, programs, and volumes.
• Maintain regular customer contact through on-site visits, reviews, and industry events.
