Job summary

LGH is seeking a Logistics/Freight Coordinator to manage freight for outbound and inbound shipments across LGH locations nationwide. The role emphasizes process efficiency and cost reduction while supporting West Coast customers remotely within specified time zones.

Responsibilities include booking freight, creating POs, providing shipment confirmations, and coordinating with rental desks. Training is provided; post-training shifts can be remote with flexible time zones.

Responsibilities

• Book and oversee the full freight process for outbound and inbound shipments.
• Create purchase orders for each shipment and verify PO numbers on invoices.
• Provide daily confirmations of shipments with customers, rental reps, freight suppliers and vendors.
• Communicate freight load numbers and tracking numbers after booking and shipment.
• Use cost-effective freight methods to reduce overall freight costs.
• Coordinate with the Rental Desk to confirm shipments and provide status updates.
• Monitor the Returns Report and take timely action per procedures.
• Monitor emails and Echo reports to address freight requests and updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
