Job summary

Tallgrass Freight Company is seeking experienced Freight Brokers / Freight Agents for a remote, commission-based sales opportunity. You’ll be your own boss with a high commission split, mentoring, and back-office support.

Ideal candidates have cradle-to-grave experience, manage a book of business, and excel at building relationships with shippers and carriers. Back office help and access to thousands of carriers are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cradle to grave experience.
• Manage book of business.
• Handle all operations and communication with customers and carriers.
• Manage current customers while developing relationships to grow customer base.
• Coordinate with shippers, carriers and dispatchers.
• Back office support.
• One stop CRM to handle all customers, carriers, and reporting.
• Access to ~15,000 carriers with fast set-up of new contract carriers.
• Full visibility to shipments, carrier costs, customer costs and commissions.
• Reporting tools to effectively run your business.

Responsibilities
