Alpha Lion is seeking a remote Freelance Creative Strategist and Copywriter who can turn customer insights into performance-driven creative. You will work asynchronously on a talent-pool basis, with project timing and weekly hours varying based on needs and performance.

Responsibilities include researching audiences, crafting sharp angles and scripts, and partnering with editors, designers, and media buyers to take ideas from brief to finished assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in DTC/eCommerce creative strategy and/or direct-response copywriting.
• Portfolio with paid-social concepts, scripts, briefs, or copy you helped create.
• Understanding of customer research, psychology, awareness, hooks, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer research into original creative concepts.
• Develop hooks, scripts, briefs, and ad copy for paid-social.
• Align concepts with customer motivations and language.
• Collaborate with editors, designers, creators, and media buyers to move briefs to assets.
• Review performance and iterate on ads, explaining wins and opportunities.
• Transform winning ideas into tests, not just surface variations.
• Manage assignments independently and deliver polished work on schedule.
• Help Alpha Lion build a faster, smarter, more repeatable testing engine.
