Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Field Applications Engineer specialized in FPGA design in the United States. You will partner with local sales teams to support pre- and post-sales activities, understand customer design requirements, and train staff on new products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electronic design experience with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Must have experience designing with FPGA's (HDL, Simulation, Verification, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Sales experience is beneficial in this role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Arrow sales teams in local branches across your assigned region in pre- and post-sales activities. Provide technical support and consulting to promote demand creation.
• Provide an escalation path to local Arrow FAEs for support of top opportunities in assigned region.
• Work with customers to develop a thorough understanding of their design requirements at both a system and component level.
• Attend supplier trainings in-person and via conference calls. Demonstrate an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of supplier technologies and how those technologies relate to market needs.
• Provide training to Arrow sales teams on new products and help market these products to the appropriate customers.
• Manage supplier and customer expectations by building and developing relationships, keeping stakeholders up to date on activities, plans, and progress towards initiatives.
