Job summary

Arrow Electronics in Massachusetts is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to help customers select and design-in FPGA devices, acting as a trusted advisor for both customers and suppliers.

You will partner with sales teams in local branches, translate design requirements into FPGA solutions, provide training to sales teams, manage opportunities in your region, and participate in branch meetings and events. Hybrid: 3 days in office/2 days remote; annual hiring range $84,300–$160,050.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electronic design experience with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science.
• Must have FPGA design experience, HDL, simulations and verification.
• Experience with high-speed digital circuits and board design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; sales experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Arrow sales teams in local branches for pre- and post-sales activities.
• Work with customers to understand design requirements at system and component level.
• Attend supplier trainings; demonstrate strengths and relate to market needs.
• Provide training to Arrow sales teams on new products and market them.
• Manage supplier and customer expectations; build relationships and track progress.
• Handle top opportunities and manage regional funnel; participate in meetings.
• Plan and organize engineering customer events and seminars.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations; meet customers on-site and remotely.
