Job summary

Epiq Solutions is seeking a Manager of FPGA Engineering to lead a distributed team in Rolling Meadows, IL. You will balance hands-on FPGA development with strategic leadership, guiding architecture, design, verification, and delivery across SDR platforms.

The role emphasizes driving FPGA strategies, collaborating with hardware, software, and test teams, and building a high-performing engineering culture with focus on schedule, quality, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years FPGA/digital design experience with delivery of FPGA-based products.
• Strong Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL skills and RTL design.
• Experience with FPGA IP development and DSP integration.
• Experience with FPGA toolchains (Vivado) and timing analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for FPGA architecture, RTL design, verification, and integration.
• Contribute to FPGA roadmap, schedules, and risk management.
• Lead and mentor a growing FPGA engineering team across multiple locations.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams to meet product objectives.
• Establish design reviews, verification strategies, and documentation standards.
