Epiq Solutions in Rolling Meadows, IL, seeks a Manager of FPGA Engineering to lead a growing, distributed FPGA team. This hands-on role blends direct FPGA work with leadership to shape development strategy for SDR products and processing solutions across hardware, software, and test disciplines.

You will guide architecture, verification, and integration, ensure schedule and quality, recruit and mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet product goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years FPGA/digital design engineering experience including delivery of FPGA-based products.
• Experience in SDR, DSP, or RF is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for FPGA architecture, RTL design, simulation, synthesis, and verification across programs.
• Contribute personally to selected FPGA architecture/design efforts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align roadmaps, priorities, schedules, and resources.
• Develop credible estimates for FPGA efforts and manage risks.
• Oversee multiple FPGA development efforts and ensure delivery against schedule.
