Job summary

Clearwave Fiber is seeking a Manager, FP&A and Reporting to own the monthly reporting cycle end to end and lead the development of a unified reporting stack across ERP, planning, and BI. The role sits under the Vice President, Finance and oversees the FP&A Analyst, delivering board and sponsor reports with clear variance commentary.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of FP&A and financial reporting experience, hands-on planning system ownership, advanced Excel skills, and a track record building

Qualifications

• 5+ years FP&A, financial reporting, or corporate finance experience with monthly cycle ownership.
• Own planning or reporting system (TM1, Anaplan, Adaptive, Pigment) and BI environment (Power BI or Tableau).
• Proven ability to build end-to-end reporting or planning processes.
• Advanced Excel with auditable models.
• Experience managing at least one analyst with quality control.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or related field.
• Ability to meet multiple close and reporting deadlines with accuracy.
• Clear written communication of variances.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly reporting cycle end to end, including management, Board, sponsor reporting.
• Own planning calendar and the planning system of record, including input collection, version control, and department-level budget and forecast review.
• Build automated data flows across the ERP, planning, and BI environments so recurring reporting refreshes on a defined workflow rather than manual rekeying.
• Own operating metric reporting, including subscribers, passings, penetration, ARPU, churn, and headcount, with documented definitions and a single source of truth for each.
• Produce departmental budget-to-actual reporting and support department heads on forecast accuracy and cost control.
• Manage, review, and develop the FP&A Reporting Analyst / Associate, including quality control over their output before it reaches senior audiences.
• Apply modern AI tooling, including Claude, to automate reporting, documentation, and quality checks.
