Job summary

Hilb Group in the United States is seeking a Manager, FP&A to lead corporate expense planning, forecasting, and financial modeling. This remote role reports to finance leadership and collaborates with Treasury, Accounting, and business partners to deliver timely analyses and executive-ready narratives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FP&A, advanced Excel and modeling skills, and experience in multi-entity or private equity-backed environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred but not required.
• 5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis.
• Experience budgeting and forecasting corporate expenses.
• Experience with cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, or working capital.
• Prior experience in multi-entity or private equity-backed or insurance environment is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling.
• FP&A and EPM systems (Adaptive Planning preferred).
• Strong understanding of P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly analysis for corporate departments.
• Partner with departmental leaders to develop expense budgets and headcount plans.
• Monitor actual results against budget and forecasts with variance analysis.
• Deliver monthly management reporting and executive-ready financial narratives.
• Build and maintain financial models supporting expense planning, cash flow forecasting, and scenario analyses.
• Support monthly close and forecast cycles and annual operating plans.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and decision support for leadership.
• Serve as a primary finance partner for designated corporate functions.
• Steward continuous improvement across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
