Job summary

The Appalachian Mountain Club is hiring an Interim Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the FP&A function during a 12-week leave period. This remote role involves management of key financial planning cycles and provides leadership for financial insights to support executives.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of FP&A experience, particularly with non-profit budgeting, and will ensure high-quality financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FP&A experience with non-profit budgeting preferred.
• Strong preference for candidates with end-to-end budget or reforecast leadership.
• Proven skills in validating and refining financial models built by others.

Responsibilities

• Lead August reforecast process coordinating inputs across departments.
• Manage the annual budgeting process to build on drafts developed over the summer.
• Serve as the primary FP&A contact for department budget leaders.
