Job summary

RTX is seeking an FP&A Specialist for the Advanced Spectrum Dominance (ASD) SSBU to support bookings, backlog, income statement, and balance sheet teams with financial analysis and reporting. Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP Tool Suite, such as APEX, Analysis for Office, and PRISM.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, to support financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and presentation of financial information.
• Experience with financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and related processes and systems.
• U.S. Citizen – U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

The Advanced Spectrum Dominance (ASD) SSBU (sub-strategic business unit) is seeking an FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Specialist. This position will support the bookings and backlog, income statement, and balance sheet teams with financial analysis and reporting. The position will support financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and analysis activities across the ASD Finance team. In this role, you will perform financial reporting and analysis, coordinate with financial analysts on reporting requirements and deadlines, and monitor variance analysis and reporting. This individual will collaborate with finance managers, financial analysts, and functional and program management to monitor and update Short-Range Outlook (SRO) Risks and Opportunities, monthly forecast updates, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Long-Range Planning (LRP) development. The FP&A Analyst will also support Balance Sheet activities, gap closure, investment reporting (IRAD, Capital, NBI, inventory management, and pre-contract funding), and ad hoc financial requests.
