Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Finance Analyst for the OSCQ Finance organization. The role partners with Operations to manage indirect budgets, CER pools, and ongoing financial analyses. You will drive forecasting, variance analysis, and budget planning with cross-functional stakeholders.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to influence operating plans across multiple business segments within RTX.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 5+ years experience, or Advanced degree with 3+ years experience.
• Experience consolidating and analyzing large financial data sets to ensure accurate forecasts.
• Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, or similar systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

• Monthly reporting and variance analysis of actual expenses vs plan.
• Monthly forecasting and identification of risks and opportunities.
• Analyze cost forecasts for labor, material, and other cost elements.
• Plan time-phased indirect expense and headcount plans.
• Build and load the annual operating plan (AOP) in the budget system.
