Job summary

Openkrill is seeking an Associate Director, FP&A in the United States for a fully remote position supporting a partner biopharmaceutical organization.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, owning models that guide clinical development budgeting and cash planning. The role involves partnering with clinical operations, HR, accounting, and executives to provide strategic financial insight and drive automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• At least 10 years in FP&A or corporate finance, with 5+ years in biotech/pharma R&D.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling ownership from development to exec/board.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, forecasting, and R&D accruals.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, and long-range planning across OPEX, headcount, and cash.
• Develop cash runway and burn rate forecasts with scenario analyses.
• Collaborate with Clinical Ops to forecast clinical program expenses and cash flow.
• Support HR and Accounting in headcount and stock-based comp planning.
• Present financial insights to senior leadership and boards.
