Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc reporting within the Finance Department. This role can be remote or hybrid and reports to the FP&A Manager.

The available position may be in various U.S. locations or remote/hybrid depending on business needs. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in accounting/finance, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance plus 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience or equivalent balance of education and work experience.
• Experience in a professional services firm is a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize a fast-paced workload.
• Excellent organizational and follow-through skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills: gather information, analyze, present findings, and propose solutions.
• Strong computer proficiency, especially MS Office and Excel; experience with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare analytical reports to analyze employee productivity and overall firm performance.
• Compile and deliver supporting reports in response to partner and principal inquiries.
• Prepare and update recurring monthly and quarterly financial planning and budgeting reports.
• Update fixed assets and prepare depreciation reports.
• Report on complex data points and ad hoc finance analyses.
• Take on additional duties and projects as assigned.
