Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc reporting in a flexible remote or hybrid setting. The role reports to the FP&A Manager and offers collaboration across multiple offices.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 1–3 years of related experience, with strong Excel and analytical skills. Remote and hybrid arrangements are discussed during recruiting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance plus 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience
• Prior experience in a professional services firm a plus
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize a fast-paced workload
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to present findings and create solutions
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare analytical reports to analyze employee productivity and overall firm performance
• Compile and deliver supporting reports in response to partner and principal inquiries
• Prepare and update recurring monthly and quarterly financial planning and budgeting reports
• Update fixed assets and prepare depreciation reports
• Report on complex data points and ad hoc finance analysis reports
• Additional duties and projects as assigned
