Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP in Portland, OR is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc reporting within the Finance Department. This remote or hybrid role reports to the FP&A Manager.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 1–3 years of relevant experience, and demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills with proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance plus 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience in a professional services firm is a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize a fast-paced workload.
• Excellent organizational and follow-through skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills including gathering information, conducting analyses, presenting findings, and creating solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare analytical reports to analyze employee productivity and firm performance.
• Compile and deliver supporting reports in response to inquiries from partners and principals.
• Prepare and update recurring monthly and quarterly financial planning and budgeting reports.
• Update fixed assets and prepare depreciation reports.
• Report on complex data points and ad hoc finance analyses.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
