Sophos Group is seeking a proactive Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team in a remote-first, United States role. You will develop and manage financial plans, oversee P&L, and drive cost optimization with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes scalable modeling, dynamic forecasting, and partnering with leadership to influence business outcomes. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in FP&A or related analytics, strong Excel and modeling skills, and experience with AI/automation to improve

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FP&A/Strategic Finance experience, preferably in SaaS/tech.
• Experience with operating expense planning, headcount management, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Advanced Excel skills with dynamic, scalable models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate data into insights.
• Experience with FP&A tools such as Adaptive Planning, OfficeConnect, SAP.
• Experience using AI, automation, and BI tools to improve reporting and efficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for clear presentations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage headcount, vendor spending, hosting, and other expenses for budgeting/forecasting.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting using AI and BI tools.
• Understand Cloud Hosting, Services, ACV, revenue, utilization, capacity planning.
• Build and maintain financial models, reports, variance analyses, and materials.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership to optimize costs and transform business.
• Support month-end processes and drive finance projects.
