Job summary

SMB Team is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to work fully remote from the United States. The role focuses on building financial models, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and analyzing performance to drive strategic initiatives.

You will partner with business leaders, prepare monthly reports and KPI dashboards, and identify financial risks and opportunities through trend analysis in sales, labor, and operating expenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, or public accounting.
• Prior M&A and/or private equity experience, including deal modeling and financial due diligence.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to build and audit complex models independently.
• Experience with AI modeling, SQL, and other BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning while building and maintaining unit-level financial models.
• Serve as a trusted finance partner, translating financial results into actionable business recommendations and presenting analyses to diverse audiences.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages and KPI dashboards, while analyzing trends in sales, labor, and operating expenses to identify financial risks and opportunities.
