Job summary

Ellipsis Health is hiring a Forward Deployed Product Manager, AI Assistant to own the end-to-end delivery of Sage in real customer environments, translating customer needs into shipped agent behavior.

This role combines product ownership with hands-on configuration, working with health plans, providers, and operations leaders to define requirements, guide integration, and ensure successful production deployments.

Qualifications

• Preference for a Computer Science background, or similar technical experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, economics, business, or a similarly rigorous field.
• 2-4 years of product Aptitude and ownership experience.
• Strong client-facing communication skills with external stakeholders.
• Exposure to APIs, data structures, integrations, LLMs, or software development.
• Structured problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery sessions to map workflows, constraints, data needs, and integration requirements.
• Design and configure Sage, including prompts, guardrails, and tooling, for live production deployments.
• Own end-to-end deployment leadership: coordination, data mapping, configuration, UAT, and go-live readiness.
• Translate customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Engineering.
• Define success metrics and collaborate with Engineering to monitor deployments over time.
• Communicate trade-offs, timelines, and designs clearly to executives and customers.
• Synthesize customer feedback to inform roadmap and platform improvements.
• Drive post-launch optimization to improve time-to-deployment and reusability of patterns.
