Job summary

Caylent seeks a Forward Deployed AI Lead to own AI engagements end-to-end, partnering with an FDE to drive strategy, operating models, and executive sponsorship. You will connect AI initiatives to business outcomes across multiple lines of business and interfaces with CXO leadership.

The role spans strategy, architecture, and client relationships, requiring deep AI experience and a proven ability to deliver measurable business value. This is a remote, international position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development or technical architecture experience across varied stacks
• 3+ years in engineering leadership, technical consulting, solutions architecture, or a combination
• Demonstrated ability to engage across lines of business with executives
• Experience designing or advising on AI operating models or digital transformation
• Hands-on familiarity with Claude Code or equivalent AI-assisted development tools
• Certified Claude Architect
• Experience running structured stakeholder interviews and workshops
• Strong executive communication to CTOs/VPs/LOB leaders
• Experience delivering professional services engagements including scope management

Responsibilities

• Own AI engagements end-to-end as the strategic lead, from discovery through executive handoff with an FDE
• Run structured discovery across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
• Design AI operating models across the organization
• Define AI outcome maps tied to measurable business results
• Lead AI maturity assessments and adoption roadmaps
• Facilitate executive workshops and enablement sessions
• Deliver executive presentations on ROI and strategic recommendations
• Direct FDE work on Claude Code tooling and prompt architecture
