Piper Companies seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to drive AI-powered solutions for a cutting-edge technology organization. You will architect, implement, and optimize AI applications with a strong focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), data connectivity, and enterprise-scale integrations.

Responsibilities include partnering with customers, deploying RAG architectures, and delivering production-grade AI solutions while ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software/ML engineering or related field.
• Hands-on AI application development including RAG.
• Experience with enterprise data connectivity and integration tech.
• Proficient in Python, Java, or TypeScript.
• Strong ability to translate technical concepts for business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand challenges and design AI-driven solutions.
• Implement and optimize RAG architectures for accuracy and relevance.
• Develop data connectivity across structured and unstructured sources.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders for deployment.
• Build PoCs, prototypes, and production-grade implementations.
• Troubleshoot and recommend improvements for performance and security.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the lifecycle.
