Job summary

Gramian Consultancy is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed AI Engineer to design and deliver production-grade AI applications directly with enterprise product and engineering teams. You will own the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and rapid prototyping through production deployment, adoption, and continuous optimization.

This hands-on, client-facing role focuses on turning complex business requirements into scalable solutions using Python, LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, LangChain /

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-level Python.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications in production.
• Strong experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or comparable orchestration frameworks.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation, vector retrieval, embeddings, LLM integration.
• Experience designing AI agents, agentic workflows, tool/calling, structured outputs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering stakeholders to translate needs into production-grade AI solutions.
• Design and build applications using LLMs, RAG, agents, tool calling, and structured outputs.
• Develop agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
• Create robust backend services in Python and frontend with React/Next.js.
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms with Docker and CI/CD; monitor quality and security.
