Job summary

Bosland Growth in the United States is seeking a Forestry Project Manager to lead reforestation projects, evaluate sites, plan restoration, mobilize contractors, and monitor outcomes.

This remote-first role, based in western PA, eastern OH, or northern WV, involves building landowner relationships, developing forest management plans, and coordinating with partners and consultants under Verra standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in forestry, forest ecology, natural resource management, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional forestry/forest management experience.
• Experience coordinating restoration projects and overseeing contractors.
• Experience developing, planning, implementing and monitoring forestry projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, GIS, and GPS.
• Familiarity with forest carbon methods, standards, and accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage reforestation projects from site evaluation, restoration planning, contractor mobilization, to ongoing monitoring.
• Support landowner outreach and education with presentations and content for events.
• Develop relationships with landowners and partners, providing forestry expertise.
• Create RFPs and procure site prep, planting, and related tasks.
• Maintain relationships with contractors and vendors for high-quality outcomes.
• Prepare forest management plans, inventories, environmental assessments, and forest histories.
