National Forest Foundation seeks a Forest Recovery Program Manager to lead a portfolio of restoration and resilience projects in the Southern Appalachians. You will coordinate with USFS, contractors, and partners, manage budgets, contracts, and staff, and guide restoration planning from assessment to implementation.

The role requires an undergraduate degree in a related field, 4+ years of forestry or restoration experience, strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in conservation or related field.
• 4+ years professional forestry/restoration experience.
• Experience coordinating projects on federal lands.

Responsabilités

• Lead forest recovery planning with USFS and partners.
• Oversee contracts, budgets and field implementation.
• Supervise staff and coordinate multijurisdiction projects.
• Support fundraising and reporting to funders.
